That's not for wireless internet, that's for a wired connection using an ethernet cable from the laptop to a modem or router.

The Lenovo X220 does have a WiFi adapter for wireless internet so please explain specifically what problem you are having with it because just saying you can't get it to work is not very helpful. Please give specifics.
