Hello! I have a windows 7 CD that I will boot from. My Laptop has 6 partitions that I will wipe, then create a new partition, and install Windows 7 on.

Problem is when I went to Asus' website to download the drivers to a USB to install on my fresh W7 install I noticed there is a USB driver. Does this mean I won't be able to use a USB until the driver is installed? If so I have no idea how I'm going to get the drivers back onto the laptop since I won't have a wifi driver to download them and the USB that contains the drivers will be unreadable.

Thoughts on what I should do?

are you doing a dual boot? if yes you can install windows 7 on a different partition and then search for the drivers that are on the windows 8 partition!(make a folder in windows 8, so you can look for it on windows 7) Also, if not doing dual boot then you can install windows 7 with no issues, USB 3 will not work on your laptop but USB 2.0 will do. Windows 7 will just install some generic USB 2.0 drivers for the time.
