Single Processor Detected

Hello Team I'm facing a problem in Acer Aspire 5738G , When i start the system , it shows Processor Detected -1,
How do i resolve this issue.

They have one CPU - Core 2 Duo T6600

That indicates the number of physical processors installed, which is only one. If you open task manager in windows or device manager it will show you how many cores it has on the die. It can be dual-core or quad core and it will either show you 2 or 4 graphs in task manager.

Thanks for the promtp respose team. I've installed win8 on my aspire 5738g , but now i want again install win7 on it. But when i start the installation from DVD. It shutdown in the middel of installation.
Now what do i do....

OK - start another thread. That wasn't in your OP.

Laptops do not like to use OS other than what they came with - because they don't supply drivers for other OS.
