What are some good $15-$60 speakers for gaming?

Solution
I'd suggest saving a little more but, Logitech will pretty much be your best bet for cheaper speakers, try to stay away from cheaper creatives, if you can save a little more the Logitech Z623's are really powerfull speakers with good sound quality and you can find them for $99 in some places or even the Logitech Z506's which are decent but mainly good because you can get 5.1 surround for around $70.

hope that helped.

I've got no experience with Genius and I've found very conflicting reviews, some very good and some very bad, up to you if you'd like to try them.

As for 2.1/5.1 preference, if money is no object then definitely 5.1 but since you're on a budget 2.1 will be your best bet at getting good speakers for your money.

z506: http://www.engadget.com/products/logitech/surround-sound-speakers/z506/
z523: http://www.engadget.com/products/logitech/speaker-system/z523/

check out these reviews and see which of them will best fit your personal needs because they're both completely different/require different set ups.
