not really. it will work great for older games, and less demanding titles, however the Cor2 architectures 8 years old now and duel cores are becoming increasingly inadequate for modern gaming.

on top of this, Cor2's maxed out at PCIe 2.0, and most systems ran DDR2 which is hard to get these days. the limitation of only SATA2.0 isn't much of a problem in my experience, but it is yet another hanging point.
