Okay so firstly I just purchased a Alpine Type-R 12 inch subwoofer and I have it wired to an 800 watt amp. The subwoofer can handle 1000 watts RMS. So I was wondering if it was anyway possible for me to even blow out this subwoofer since it can handle an extra 200 watts then my amp can even put out? I'm just super nervous because I blew my last subwoofer and I don't want it to happen again. Also I do like to listen to my music at higher volumes so that's why I'm asking to see if I can crank it all the way up and still be safe.

Solution
The 1000W is at 1000Hz. So just be careful. If you pump it up and it starts distorting then back off with the amp. It also depends on the input signal strength.
