Refurb Astro A50 vs HD558/modmic

The title sais it all, they're both 250$ including tax, I am using them mainly for gaming on a PC, PS4, and listening to music on my phone.

The Sennheiser and modmic setup will beat the Astro A50. Your going to get quality sound and a good mic with this setup. I say no to the Astros since they are known to have buzzing problems, also that the Sennheisers can be used with much more range of devices that the Astro.

And if you see your poll, more people edge towards the Sennheiser modmic setup.,

You should be able to plug it into the controller; it has a 3.5mm jack.

yes but in order to use modmic, I need to get a plug that turns the mic and the headphones in one,
