Could a Virus/Trojan/Rootkit be causing these symptoms?

Hello,

I have a Window's 7 64 bit computer and I have these symptoms.

1:Sometimes,randomly,my computer will randomly wake up from sleep mode, and run like normal.I have a wired gaming mouse, and it couldn't be causing this problem,as I can't wake up my computer by moving the mouse anyway, and have to use my keyboard.

2:I have been losing hard drive space for sometime now,and recently,I lost 5gb`s over he time span of maybe 1-2 weeks,I checked Window's system back up,and the last one was made a week ago.I have installed Malwarebytes and ran it,it came up with 27 Trojans, and I promptly had them deleted,I'm going to wait to see if I lose any more storage,if I do,what steps should I take?

Do I have a Trojan that both Malwarebytes AND Norton have missed and is continuing to add Malware to my computer? Or is it the Window's system restore point's ( I can't recall the exact name) that's taking up the gb`s?

Any help would greatly be appreciated and I hope someone as the answer!

Trojans are extremely hard to eradicate and often duplicate themselves or are a part of some kind of rootkit. Check the following link on full infection removal. Download and run Malwarebytes rootkit scanner tool, which is free from their website, and if you are still experiencing problems.

Some issues may be due to changes made by any of those Trojans, but which are not infections in and of themselves so may still cause problems, I'd recommend backing up any important files and folders, after fully scanning them to make sure their not infected as well, and reinstalling windows. With that many infections, it's doubtful you'll ever get things completely back to normal...
