Recently I was given an HP G4 laptop to work on. i was told that the computer kept overheating. I turned the computer on and was met by a message stating that the fan was not working properly. I took the computer apart and got into the fan and fixed it. Now when I turn on the computer the fan works but nothing comes up on the screen, not even through an external display.
TL;DR I took apart a laptop (HP G4) to fix a fan problem, now it will not boot. The fan works but there is no video signal, on screen or through external monitors.
