Which laptop should I choose? Asus G551JM or Acer Aspire V Nitro Black Edition? I had my eye on the Asus G551JM for quite sometime now but I heard that there is a *Coil Whine* issue with that laptop. Can anyone care to explain to me more about this? Or tell me more about your personal experience with either one of this laptop. Please and Thank You :)

i Have an asus G73JH, paid +1800$ for it when it was brand spanking new.

Verdict:
- best bang for your buck, hands down
- mouepad was utter crap, they saved money on that part
- materials were flimsy and felt cheap, when i picked up the laptop ( ok it's a bulky 17" thing ) with on hand i always feared it was gonna break in half. On a sidenote, i always had problems getting it in my handluggage when flying, max weight is 5kg for most companies and this thing with adaptor is close to 6kg.

Final verdict:
if you want the best possible hardware for your money go asus 'repulblic of gamers',
just know they save money on everything that isn't directly related to performance :)

Note: i never regretted my purchase, i would buy it again if i...

I have a ASUS g750jw bbi7n05 and i love it. Even tho its a model older i love it. I DEFIANTLY recommend getting asus. They are built upon gaming. Look at them that's a big line up they have. SO i think they got gaming pcs and parts pretty much in the basket. SO buy the ASUS.
