I pulled my headphones from the 3.5mm jack and the front end is jutted in. Basically the front end came off (my headphone broke with the front end fixes in the jack). How should I go about the problem?? Can a USB headphone work with that still jutted in???

Makkems idea probably will work. You can easily select your USB headset in the Sounds Control Panel, a USB soundcard will not help though.

Try what Makkem said or find another way, then buy some new headphones or a headset.

Hope this helps!

Ok - so I think the real question is - can I select a USB headphone while a standard 3.5mm headphone is plugged in?

I believe so - you should set the default playback in the 'Sounds' tab in control panel.

good luck.

Hi
You could try putting a small dab of superglue on the end of a cocktail stick and inserting it into the jack socket until it sticks to the broken tip, then wait until the glue has set and try pulling the tip out.
