Can you check you model to by sure ?
Example for MXM GPU GeForce GTX 780M is 5x more power full compared to yours.

No, the 740M is a surface mounted chip and is non-upgradeable. Few video cards are, but this isn't even an MXM card; it's a chip soldered to the laptop's main board.
