Hello Everyone, Hope you All had a Really nice Christmas,

I have just bought a Gaming/Home Laptop and i Also have a Gaming/Home PC...
At the moment they're like a mirror image of each other set up wise (Programs, Email, etc)
So that if i'm not using one i can do the same on the other,

Is this the correct way to have them or is there a better way please?
Both have an SSD + HDD in them:
Laptop has:
Samsung Evo 840 250GB SSD + 1TB Sata 3 HDD
PC has:
Sandisk Ultra 11 480GB SSD + 1TB HDD
Both nice and Fast!

Also
I've heard that i can install Games to the 1TB drive and play them on my OS Drive...
How do i configure that please?

Many thanks in advance for all help/advice

Kind regards to All,
Les.
PS>
Happy new year and I hope you All have a Fantastic 2015,

Having your programs match up is very handy at times, it makes syncing data easier. In some circles they'd say that's an ideal setup, others might not like the idea as being security weak (seems there's always some give and take)
As far as program installs to your data drive rather than the OS drive here's how to go about that:
First, when I download something it goes into a "download" folder in the D: drive, I make a subfolder in "download" for each program since at this point most are compressed (zipped). Then, they are extracted to the D: drive (into another folder called "UIPrograms" uninstalled programs). From that point I'm ready to install the program. Select run or exe file then, when the program prompts you to install program...

(the default location) you'll select the "browse" option (in some cases you'll need to select "Advanced" to get that option) select where you want the program installed.
That's my method anyway
I hope that made sense, if unclear, let me know
