I bought a new TV monitor to use it as a second monitor for my PC. The DVI port is being used by my first monitor and the TV is using the HDMI port. The TV detects the PC, but the PC will not detect the TV. Can someone please help me? I have AMD Radeon HD 7000 series as the Display Adapter and the TV is SAMSUNG LT19C300.

so does the second monitor say no signal or is the screen black? also go onto you desktop and right click(no on a folder/app, just on desktop) should come up with view,sort by refresh paste, paste shortcut and some more. the one you are looking for is screen resolution. click on that and you should see this

if there are two screens on there then it should be working. if there isnt the click detect if another screen isnt detected then you might need to buy a graphics card.
and plug the tv in through that :)

How will I know if it is integrated? Also, I have tried it with just the TV on it's own and it still will not work. I think it is because their is no hardware for it or I accidentally removed it.

How do I scan for missing hardware?

need to look in the back of your pc and see where your cables goes to your tv {if it's from a slot in the back of the pc then it should be a video card} if the connection is between with your usb,audio,modem,key board and mouse then it would be a on-board video chip. Another way is open the case and you will see a video card .
Name of motherboard and model would help us better also.

if you have a A10 chip I think you have to match the video on the chip with a matching video card to use both at the same time. it could be just a driver for your chip? i'm using my in-board video with my tv hdmi and works fine {i don't have 2 connected at the same time}
