Hi, I was hoping someone could help. So I connected My Samsung soundbar and Sub to my VIZIO Tv (non-smart tv) it works perfectly. However, when I try to watch a movie on my bluray, sound only comes out of the bar, not the sub. But when I mirror my phone and use the BT it works again. How can I get this to work?

Are you connected via HDMI from the Blu-ray? Do you have another HDMI input on the tv? If so, I'd try the other HDMI input. Often there are HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 inputs.
