My soundbar has the rca coonnections red and white, red in red, white in white, and the other end is connected to the tv in the same way, rca red to red white to white. I'm getting no sound, can someone help me with this?

on the sound bad you have to hit input. some have digitail coax and digital input port. on the tv see if there a setting to turn on/off the analog audio ports. if there no sound from the sound bar try plugging it into a dvdplayer or cable box if there sound it may be the tv is set to use digital coxal or digitail audio out port.

Are you sure that you have connected the soundbar to an output on the TV? The colors would be the same. Most TVs do not have analog outputs but may have optical audio output that would require one of these to connect to the soundbar:
