There are currently a couple different 4 bay NAS systems available for under 200. Should I go with one of those (4 x 4TB drive, raid 5) or same drive/raid setup in a basic low powered PC?

Main concern is storing my massive media collection. Id love to be able to stream over wireless to my LG LG BP540 blueray player but I dont know if thats even possible. I'll settle with reliable storage. I purchasec a netgear router that had a SATA drive bay. Put in teh 4tb drive and it didnt do squat. Couldnt ever upload or use it. I gave up on that turd. Good idea, but bad manufacturer support. Should I just order a low powered PC rig (what software to use?) or one of the <=200 4 bay NAS?

Thats the one I was thinking of. Name branded, decent price. USB/Gigabit/DLNA/Bittorrent transfer.

Or I could go home server.

What do you guys think? Options/ideas? (at an affordable cost)

of course, the NAS is no longer on sale so as soon as the sale ends, the drives I needed go on newegg's shell shocker sale a couple days ago. I had 2. needed 2 more for the 4 bay NAS. This isnt going well at all.
