Is it possible to make use of an email address from another provider if that provider has shut down the original servers supporting the email?
Many modern webmail services let you send email as another individual, but is it possible to appropriate an address to receive it as well?
The reason I say this is because my parents don't want to switch from our terrible network provider because they'll lose the email addresses everyone knows them by - is there a way they can keep this address and continue receiving email to it if they no longer have access to the POP/IMAP servers that originally serviced it?
