TV is LG 60GA6400 and AV Receiver is Yamaha RX-V675. HDMI Out on receiver is connected to HDMI 1 on TV. HDMI 1 on receiver is connected to BD/DVD player. HDMI 2 on receiver is connected to Satellite box (Dish Joey). When viewing satellite programming on TV with receiver on HDMI 2, sound is passing through the receiver fine. But when streaming movie from Amazon, the receiver keeps playing audio from satellite. Tried connecting HDMI 2 on TV to HDMI 3 on receiver and setting receiver to HDMI 3, but no audio passes through. Is there a way to get audio from receiver when streaming from Amazon?

Can you just keep it simple and connect your Satellite ,Blue Ray to your HDMI IN and use your Digital Audio Out (Optical) from your TV to your Receiver TV Digital Audio (Optical) IN and will need to turn on the Receiver when you want to hear any thing in surround sound mode.
