Hello. I have issues with my new set of Logitech z506 speakers. All the test sounds work properly for the five speakers (center, FR, FL, RR, RL) and subwoofer. But none of the programs I have tried (games, youtube, movies) will work. It only plays from the front two speakers. I have looked everywhere messing with it, but I can't seem to get it to work. Help?

Solution
Try unplugging the center, rear and sub input cables from the system.
The system is made to upmix a two channel (stereo) signal so that it uses all speakers. If you leave all the cables plugged in though, it thinks it's receiving a 5.1 channel signal, and you get the problem you've described.

Higher end systems have a dedicated button to switch between true or upmixed 5.1 sound, but it doesn't look like yours has one.
