A friend of mine is looking to purchase a laptop on a budget of around £250 (lower if possible) and has provided me with some of his options, which out of these would you guys recommend? If anyone knows of a better option please let me know. Thanks

If you're looking for refurbs these are good options for the price, the HP laptop is slightly more but you do get a A8 (Faster) processor then the A4 of the EasyNote. They are both 1366 x 768 which for light use such as documents, powerpoints ect is perfect. To be honest with you, unless there is some specific applications that are resource hungry you use, or you are a gamer these laptops are perfect for work/school ect. They are identical in weight, so just aesthetics and personal prefence to the look should be your main concern between them.

There is also new options for you for example at £200 http://www.ebuyer.com/669147-hp-255-g3-quad-core-laptop-k7h92es-abu you get half the ram and storage however ram isn't too important for...

A laptop I like the look of at this pricepoint is http://www.ebuyer.com/640810-asus-x200ma-touch-laptop-x200ma-ct099h although a slightly smaller screen size, my girlfriend uses one for university due to the size and weight making it very easy to carry on the go.

Feel free to give me your uses and what specs you want :)
