As said in the title, my headset's mic will not work on my new computer. It is a ttesport cronos. It works perfectly on my laptop as well as my phone.

Even though the headphone part works, they are not listed in the playback or recording devices. I have speakers set to default and sound is coming through the headset.

On the bottom right of your desktop screen, right click on your Speaker Icon and select 'Recording Devices'. You should see you see some options for a microphone, select your ttesport headset, right click, and set as default. If the headset uses a USB plug for audio, you may have to download drivers from ttesports' website to enable the mic capability.

Also, if you have a audio software like Realtek HD Audio, SoundMax, ect., be sure to enable your headset mic input in the software. At times, this can be automatically disabled.

Options listed for recording devices include: Microphone, Line In, Aux, Stereo Mix, and Wave. None of these will record any sound when set as default. All of them have levels at 100% and are not muted. I have tried disabling the and only using one at a time as well, which still does not work. As far as drivers go, I have tried but the website has none listed for the particular headset. If you wish to verify this... http://ttesports.com/downloads.aspx > Product > Headset > CRONOS Team DK > Driver.

You do indeed have the headset plugged in correctly? If you are using your front ports, try using the ones in the back directly plugged into your motherboard. Remember the mic plugs into your Line-in (Pink-colored) port.

Your path to the driver is correct, I don't know why ThermalTake has a blank page....
