Hey, So I was just given a Acer Aspire One D260 for free and I've done some research and found that the RAM and HDD is upgradable, the max RAM for the netbook is 2GB (1x2GB) and its only capable of holding DDR2 or DDR3 (I would prefer DDR3). I also want to get rid of the HDD for a new SSD which has a storage capacity of at least 120GB as I'm not going to be doing much on it except watching movies, going on the internet and downloading music.

The reason I'm asking this is because this is my first laptop upgrade and I've never had to find the right sized parts for a laptop before, and as these are the only upgradable parts on this laptop I would like to make them decent, I'm willing to spend $50-$150 on this. I will also be using Windows 8.1 just to give it a fresh look.

(P.S) If any other components are upgradable PLEASE let me know, I've checked if the CPU is and it isn't as it is soldered down and even if I was able too it could cause some problems with the bios.

(P.P.S) I was thinking these might be good but I'm not sure if their sizes are right or if their compatible? - Kingston HyperX Fury 120GB SSD
- Kingston KVR13S9S6/2 (1x2GB) DDR3 SODIMM
