User account wont let me use some letters

My Asus touchscreen laptop wont let me use ( p, 0, ?, or close parenthesis ) plus more.. I notice that this only happens when I use my user account (Main account). Keyboard works perfect from my girlfriends user account. Any ideas on how to solve this? :??:

Very odd. Remove the driver from Device Manager for your keyboard, then restart the laptop. It will reinstall the native driver. Hopefully it will work from there.

Let us know how that fares.

I tried but still having the same problem.. and its only with my user account. When I use the on screen touch-keyboard its all fine. its really frustrating :fou:

The only other thing I can think to have you do is to make a new user account and test the keyboard there. If it works on that account also, then transfer your user data to it and you can delete the account with the keyboard problem. I've never come across a keyboard that worked differently in different user accounts. As long as it works flawlessly in another account, though, then it at least seems that the keyboard itself (the hardware) is fine.
