looking for a way to stream netflix and add a usb port on a non wireless non smart tv

I have an older lcd flat screen in my bedroom that doesn't have wireless or netflix and i would like to be able to watch netflix in there also alot of my movies and things are on flash drives and would like if the device had a usb port if they make something like that please let me know

Check out the chrome cast does not have a USB port for your flash drive to connect, but it will give you apps that you can use such as Netflix.

do you have a laptop or PC near the TV? does it have HDMI/VGA/DVI inputs?

I know where your headed with that and yes it has vga and hdmi but i dont want to have to have the computer in the room also and i want to use my remote or a remote that comes with the product i choose...thats a good question with chrome cast do you get to use your remote or do you need to use a computer or somthing

maybe im unsure what chromecast is,,,i thought it was just a wireless HDMI cable, hook one end to the laptop and the other to the TV but you wont be able to use your remote for the TV to control it.

You may very well be correct in that assumption I know nothing about it but if thats the case then I will have to continue my search as that will not work for me
