Hi all,

I just bought a gaming PC tower off somebody and I've just got it home but it won't connect to my TV via HDMI. I've gone through every source and nothing happens, nothing comes up. I saw the PC working at the guy's house via HDMI so I know that it can work, but I don't know why it's not working with my TV. Is it the PC or the TV? Am I doing something wrong? It does not have VGA output so I can't try it with the monitor I have. Will a DVI to HDMI converter work?

Additional info: Graphics card is a GTX 780 and my TV is a Soniq 1080p. I've every available HDMI port.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Your Gtx 780 has probably a dvi-I interface so you can use a dvi-vga adaptor and use a vga cable to connect to your monitor , then you can try changing the monitor settings on Nvidia's control panel.
