Need to know which is the better choice

I am looking for every day laptop that can support some gaming power, pls tell me which is better for me ty in advanced.

the first one is

Intel Core i5-4200U Dual-core 1.60 GHz - 2.6 Ghz
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M with 4 GB Dedicated Memory
8 GB, DDR3L SDRAM
1 TB HDD

and the other one is

INTEL CORE i5-4210M 2.60 - 3.20 GHz
RAM : 6 GB DDR 3L
HDD : 1000 GB
NVIDIA GEFORCE 840M 2gb Dedicated memory

The second one is probably the better gaming machine of the two.

is it because of the CPU

First one will be miles better for gaming. The 750M destroys 840M, and has more dedicated memory. The CPUs are incredibly similar, and CPU performance is less important in games anyway. But battery life may be longer on the second one. If it's more expensive or the same price, go for the first.
