Logitech G230 vs Sennheiser HD429

I have a G230 headset and was wondering if the HD 429 would be a good upgrade from those. I assumed it would because they're in roughly the same price bracket and gaming audio is terrible apparently. Thanks!

While I haven't had a chance to listen to the 429s I would definitely reccomend the pair of headphones I'm using right now: Panasonic RP HTF 600s

Definitely a fun set of cans to listen too for a very affordable price.

Quick summary from MalVeaux's review:

"Massive amounts of reverbing bass. They're basshead cans through and through.
Bass bleeds into mids a little, but mids are not recessed in a big way.
Treble is very smooth, rolls off, not bright or fatiguing at all.
Great soundstage for a closed headphone.
Below average isolation, the vents are numerous.
Signature: Warm, Bassy, Lush, Rich, Smooth, Detailed"


These things work fantastic for gaming. Even better than my m50s. At the price I bought them for ($33) I have...
