when i turn my laptop on it switches off automatically in 10-15secs why? please help!!!

Impossible to diagnose with such little information, especially where a laptop is concerned.
You will have to let a knowledgeable person open it and take a look inside it for any obvious clues, but I suspect the motherboard may be faulty.

Same thing here with a toshiba Qosmio - the start button has a faulty design - I think it's shoddily made and fails. I can press around the button on the case and it goes on again for a few seconds. Saw lots of the same issue on a google search - might as well buy a new laptop, but not toshiba.
