to hook up Sony Bravia hdtv, Scientific DVR, Sony bluRay & Sony sound bar?

im trying to hook up the above mentioned and cant get them to function properly, the sound bar is my biggest difficulty, install instructions do not cover this set up.

Without more details my general suggestion would be to connect the DVR and Bluray to the TV. If the TV has audio outputs then it is either analog RCA or more likely optical audio out. If your sound bar has the wrong type of connection then you would need an converter. If the sound bar has analog input then you need one of these:

If the TV doesn't have audio outputs then you would have to connect the DVR and Bluray to the sound bar with some kind of switch.
