boot hard disk error

Hi guys
My hp dv6 laptop (4 years old) is showing hard disk error...
after i click f2 then esc, it'll turn on normally; & it doesn't show this error on every boot!
what do you think ? Could it be the hard disk preparung to die??

Back up your files in the event it completely craps out on you. HP should have some diagnostic tests that you are able to run from the pre-boot menu to let you know if your hardware is failing. Run a hard drive test and a memory test as well, to see if it is indeed a hardware issue.
