Looking for a low budget laptop to do "it all" - will this one be good?

I cannot decide on a laptop. Mine busted. Used by family for Movie streaming, Microsoft Office, Minecraft, Adobe photoshop.

Thanks for the suggestion. I can get this Lenovo for $639 direct thru my work today only.

Is newegg.com a safe source if you have issues with the machine?

Is ACER better in general than Lenovo? Also, is the main difference the GTX 980M ?

It is hard to sort thru all this.

Oh, $639? Then never mind, it's okay for $639.
1) Newegg is safe.
2) Acer isn't better than Lenovo.
3) The main difference is the GTX 840M.
