For over a month now I have had problems using the internet on my acer Windows 8 laptop with the wifi in my apartment. I connect just fine to the network, but when I try to load anything on my browser it is incredibly slow to the point where the connection times out. Sometimes I can get a few pages to load for awhile, but it always eventually becomes unusable. Any other network I use with my laptop, however, like at school everything loads just fine. It seems as though I only started having this problem after my computer forced me to download Windows 8.1. Any help on how to fix this problem would be very much appreciated. Thank you
