I'm going to try and make this as short as possible! 
So basically, I need a laptop that will be used for graphing design, occasional gaming, and school + daily casual use. The main programs I need it to run is Photoshop CS6 and occasional gaming such as Minecraft, Sims, possibly Far Cry, etc. I can forget high demanding games if need be, though I'd definitely prefer MC! I'm on a very tight budget (I'm pushing it quite a bit at $470) and I'm not up for building my own system again at this time. I'm 100% set on a laptop because I need it for school classes while I'm away from home.
I just need to know, which of the following will be best for Photoshop/Graphic Design, occasional games (like I said, I can drop high demanding ones), and quite a bit of multitasking for school? I've searched around for reviews on them but unfortunately there's not many reviews haha.

I am pretty set between these two only because of the fact that I have access to purchase one or the either very soon (I need to make my choice by the December 3rd), I just need to know which preforms better for graphic design & gaming overall. I was originally set on the 17-e148ca but recently found a very good offer on the dv7, though I've heard some bad things about the dv7 so I thought I'd get some extra advice!
Now I know neither of these are not meant for gaming, but it's the best I can do at this rate! I just need to know which between these two in particular would be better.
