I have wanted to upgrade my headphones for around a month now as my HS-260 headphones recently had a fault and one ear has a massive reduction in sound compared to the other. My main question I would like to ask is what the best gaming headset for under £150 pound on the market right now is? I really enjoyed my FUNC HS-260's purely because it allowed me to change my microphone and sound cable around which many headsets don't allow. On the other hand, I really enjoyed my old turtle beach x12 headphones as they allowed a base boost option and I was able to play on the Xbox with the same headset, although I mainly want this headset to be able to play FPS shooters on the PC. My main aim of a headset is to really enhance the sound in a game like BF4 and Counter Strike, it would also be lovely to have a bigger ear cup than usual as I find it much more comfy. Thanks to anyone that can help me out, its much appreciated.

I bought a pair of these a couple of months ago

Incredibly impressed by them ,transmitter is USB & contains its own soundcard/mic hardware.
Works well with 360 (including microphone) too.
Big earcups, very well made ,3 sound settings, bass on highest will make your head rattle.
Full charge last 10-12 hours but transmitter needs USB power at all times.

The dolby version can only be an improvement IMO but costs twice as much, does come with dedicated charging dock etc though.
