Windows detects audio devices but no sound output or input

Okay so i have the latest realtek audio drivers and well i cant hear anything coming out of my speakers nor can i hear myself speaking down my mic. I have no idea how to fix this. If you need any system info then please let me know

That didn't work still no sound from speakers and mic isn't picking my voice up

right-click on the mic then properties, then levels

if you can see the levels moving when you speak into mic its just the output thats the problem.

do the speakers have external controls on them?

I have just tryed to access the Realtek audio driver display and its not their even though i have uninstalled and re installed the realktek driver

not through realech use windows built in tool.

i have realtech hd on mine but you should be controlling it through windows.

have you checked in devices manager that you have uninstalled it? just uninstalling the program might not remove the driver+ settings for that device from your pc
