avgntopenssla.dll crashes explorer.exe. I tried reinstalling AVG, didn't work. How do I fix it. I may try Panda Free Antivirus if nothing works. I tried contacting AVG and got no reply.

In the past, I've always had issues with third party virus pgms. I would suggest uninstalling everything virus-related and try Microsoft Securities Essentials instead. It is totally transparent to Win and works seamlessly. I have been using it and Malwarebytes for years and have had no issues. No viruses or malware.

Microsoft may be compatible, but it does not offer good real time protection. My sister had it and I ran malwarebytes and there were over 5000 threats
