I'm assuming the 150watts is per channel and not total. 150watts per channel is pretty powerful.
8 ohm output is standard. .9% THD (total harmonic distortion) is average for a consumer grade receiver.
7-channels is becoming the norm (is it 7.1 or 7.2, for the number of woofers?)
Really this is very little info to go on to decide about a receiver. Does it have all the required inputs you need (HDMI, optical, digital coaxial)? Does it have any special features you require (Ethernet or Wifi for built in functions like Pandora, or other music services)?
Personally, I have never liked Sony audio equipment.

This receiver does not have really strong power amps. If a receiver needs a 4 ohm / 8 ohm switch then it does not have the current capability to drive speakers well. The 150 watts is at 6 ohms but most receivers are rated into 8 ohm. This makes this receiver seem more powerful than it is. If your speakers have a low impedance and or need a strong amp you would notice the difference with a Marantz, Cambridge Audio, or Anthem receiver.
Since this is a discontinued model and the price is probably pretty good I would say that you won't be able to do much better especially if you like the features.
