Hi guys. Since black friday and cyber monday is coming around this week. I want to get a gaming laptop. This is what I have in mind, here they are.

MSI: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152557

ASUS: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834231630&cm_re=asus_laptop-_-34-231-630-_-Product

I need help deciding which one of these laptops I should get or maybe there is another laptop that can help with my capability.

Will you be gaming: Yes

Is it mainly for gaming: No, I need it for my computer engineering work as well for next year in college.

Do you want high quality and high resolution while you game: Yes, at least high or very high in 1080p.

How long do you want your gaming laptop to last: At least 2-3 years.

What is your budget: 1200$

Will you be playing the latest games that comes out 2015 and 2016: Yes

Do you care about weight: No

Will it be an everyday laptop: Probably yes.

If you guys can match this with a laptop I want that would be best thanks guys!
Oh and on the ASUS ROGJM. It does not display the pricing in newegg store, I'm kinda worried that If I put it in my cart and buy it later it will charge me a price that is different from my original cart price. Which is 1,999.00$. If anyone knows should I buy it? Also does that mean it is out of stock?

wot.
terrible thermals, bad drivers, risk of SLI not working - nah. not worth it at all.

OP if you want the truly best bang for your buck, look up the sager 8651 from xoticpc its $100 over your budget but will literally BLOW away your other pics. the gtx 970M beats even the 880M!

It's Taiwanese and has been one of the most successful brands for gaming laptops that you'll find on the market.
check the reviews at notebookcheck.net on sager models and you'll see that they're actually really good.
companies like ibuypower, schenker, XMG, pcspecialist, xoticpc, lpc digital, eurocom and other foreigners use almost exclusively sager / clevo models as their base and just change the finish for branding.
Hope this clears up any confusion :)

Oh so basically this company, xoticpc, gets the component, and they will try and improve it in someway or form. :D Dude that's awesome! I am diffidently going with this laptop. GTX 970M? Around 1,230$ BEST DAMN PRICE AND BETTER MADE!

they buy chassis and the components seperately for cheaper then put it together themselves.
please remember to make sure you have an OS. the Sager doesn't come with one by default.
