I am not very tech savy and I'm in the market for a new laptop. I am completely conflicted between the ASUS F555LA-AH51 which is an i5 4th gen, 8gb ram, 1tb hard drive, and intel 4400 gpu. All for $499.

The other option is the Lenovo G50 AMD A8-6410 2.0 GHz Processor, 6gb ram, AMD Radeon HD graphics (R5 I believe) for $458.99.

I need some guidance. I mostly will be using the laptop for productivity work, but I am a notorious multitasker. I will have 4 different word documents open, email, 5 pdfs, and a ton of tabs. All while streaming some video. I don't game very often but it would be nice to have the option when traveling to do some gaming.

Any help would be appreciated!

If you're going to game, then the Lenovo would be a better option as the graphics in the APU would be better than the integrated intel. Also the AMD's CPU i believe is a true quad core vs the i5 which is a dual core with hyperthreading.

Thank you for your help! I guess as a follow up. I found this laptop for the same price, and they seem to be a little bit closer in specs.

Lenovo Z50 (80EC000TUS)
AMD A10-7300 Quad-Core 1.9 GHz Processor
AMD R6 Graphics card
1 TB 5400 rpm Hard Drive

I think the AMd A10 is a quad core vs i5 with hyper threading. However, it has a higher max turbo rate. Sadly I'm not sure how that compares.
