Hello,

I am wanting to buy a laptop which will work almost like desktop computer where we can install any Operating System on the HDD.
So I can install Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8 all these together on three different partitions of the hdd or I am also ready to delete any old os and install the new os as we do with the desktop computers.

Please suggest me a laptop on which I can do these things.

I am waiting for your kind respond.

Thanks.

If you want a system that would have support for XP, 7 and 8, I'd look into the business models, like the Lenovo Thinkpad or HP EliteBook. Something like the T410 or 420 should handle all three of those operating systems.
There is no specific laptop you need for these requirements. You just need one with enough hard drive space for all of the separate partitions.

Now Windows 8/8.1 runs with GPT which windows XP is not going to support.

My advice would be to use virtual machines instead of being dual/triple boot.

I run a laptop with dual hard drives and dual OS, one is XP Pro and the other is Vista. I then have 3 other hard drives which I swap in or out as I need to, running either XP Pro or Windows 7. I also run 3 drives all at once with one connected externally via an EZ Connect cable. The hard drives I have used lately are !TB, and I had to format from another XP System to get the correct settings because each drive is partitioned into a least 4 different partitions. I know there are several laptops available that have dual hard drives already installed. You just need to be able to swap in and out somewhat easily. My drives I leave unscrewed so I can add and remove quickly. I just need to make sure I pull that battery before swapping a drive. And NEVER have plugged into Power when doing so. And when installing an OS, I only have 1 drive in the running system at that time. Hope it helps.
