Hello, everyone! I am currently working on a project in one of my classes in college, and for this project I am looking for a free firewall program that can run in "super nag" mode, by which I mean that it must be able to be configured (as in, it can't just do this by default) such that it will prompt the user to allow or deny anything and everything that either comes in to, or goes out from, the user's computer on any connection. As I am rather exhausted with trying various programs for other assignments, only to find that the programs don't do what I want them to do, I've decided that, this time, I'll ask for recommendations before downloading stuff.

So... any suggestions?

Thanks, I'll check it out.

UPDATE: I don't think Tinywall is the program I want... Tinywall's website seems to talk a lot about a distinct lack of nagging, and after downloading, installing, and after looking through the settings, I can't seem to find much in the way of prompting the user about anything.

Comodo is definitely your go-to firewall. I can't think of a better one, in general, and it will definitely let you set how often it "nags" at you to make a decision about things. I remember setting it up a while back, and setting it to ask me for most things; that opened my eyes up a little bit about computers in my teen years.

If it isn't "nagging" you enough, I don't know what else would do so with similar protection quality; and lesser protection would mean less of a project.
