I have a C-55A and have been through this problem before but can't figure out how I fixed it. The screen loses it's color and goes into a almost picture negative type of display-make sense ? Any colors are greatly dulled, etc. The TOSHIBA" logo screen is now a white backround w/ blue lettering instead of a black backround/red lettering..this type of thing. If I used an HDMI cable and plug the laptop into the TV, the screen is fine. I had this before and somehow fixed it....
Any ideas....
Thankyou!
JEFF

If you don't have warranty coverage for it, you need to bring it to a PC shop, they may need to LCD screen if an external monitor works normally. Will probably cost $140 or so depending on the shop.

I have the same exact problem with a Toshiba Satellite A55-310 I bought brand new from Bestbuy Florida, the display never showed a 100% image quality and around a month later it turned almost like a negative image, not sure what to do, because I live in Canada and the receipt got lost while travelling back.
