Which laptop to buy off these two (Dell vs Asus)

Hey guys

So I've zeroed down to two laptops, given specs, please pick one you'd buy.

Price are same. I'll use it mainly for graphics(not heavy just web stuff), surfing, movies sometimes.
Some casual gaming, no hardcore. No online games, mining or any heavy stuff.

The Dell is better looking at it specs wise, but I personally like ASUS's build quality. If you're gonna be doing a bit more graphics the Dell's GPU is better than the 820M on top of a slightly faster CPU.

Yeah same with me. I like Asus as a brand more, but here leaning towards Dell just for the specs. Probably gonna buy it unless I find few very bad reviews with a pattern about it in next few hours.

The increase of the GPU and CPU of Dell over that of the Asus laptop are marginal at best.

I would go with the Asus one,
2 Reasons :

Asus has always built quality in my experience.
The Asus has a optical drive, so you can easily install any OS from disc, get data from DVD's, burn DVD's or watch DVD movies.

In actuality they perform almost exactly the same.

You're right but a major downside for me about Asus is that it only supports 8gb so in future if I need Dell will gimme the option to install extra RAM while Asus won't. Also Asus has a 4 cell battery Dell has 6 one. I won't be using optical drive much as I have a full time desktop for that (sorry forgot to mention this).

The better GPU is prolly the winning factor here.
