Recently I have been looking for a laptop for mobility the only problem is I cant find one I love. I started to look at chromebooks because they are cheap but the only two i found were the Dell Chromebook 11 and the Toshiba Chromebook 2. To cut it short I cant find a good laptop that is under $350 that is why i need help finding one that works with what i want.

- Screen resolution doesnt matter aslong as it is between 720p - 1080p
- I want a very thin portable laptop
- Chrome OS or windows
- under 350 dollars

If anyone can find a computer that fits the criteria that would be greatly appreciated.

First I would just like to point out that I am a bit biased against Chromebooks because they are rather limited in both software and functionality compared to a laptop. Additionally, most seem to require an internet connection to save any work that you may or may not be doing with it.

Therefore, I recommend the 11.6" Acer Aspire V3-112P-C2P6 that uses a quad core Celeron N2940 CPU. The CPU is based on the Bay Trail architecture and is a continuation of Intel's Atom CPU line up which have low power requirement and are generally used in entry level laptops. I would hazard to guess that it is almost as powerful as Penitum 2117U in the above mentioned 15" Dell Inspiron 15 laptop. It weighs in a 3.06lbs and is 0.9 inch thick.

Newegg sells it for $313 before taxes and shipping charges. Taxes are only accessed if you live in CA where Newegg is headquartered or in any state where they have a warehouse (TN and NJ that I know of). There is no free shipping; shipping to NY adds about $12 to the cost.

If possible, I recommend you wait for Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals coming at the end of the month. Perhaps you can get it for a better price or maybe something a little more power in your $350 budget.

You not going to get 1080 P for $350 but these are at least 720 P. Your going to have to get a thicker case because this price range won't have a SSD like the Ultrabooks that are usually around $1000 or higher.
