My qosmio X500 (x505) has a now dead 250m and can't find a replacement (250m/360m). PQ1 chip blew.
460m's all went with models with biggger chargers.

I can get cards from a satellite P500/p505 that look identical and the eBay seller lists X500 in the title but can find no confirmation of this. Does any one have any 1st or second hand experience with this?
e.g., http://www.ebay.ca/itm/For-Toshiba-X505-P505-P505D-512M-video-card-34TZ2VB00D0-DATZ2GUBAD0-Tested-ok-/331059574943?pt=PCC_Video_TV_Cards&hash=item4d14b0389f

EDIT:: If anyone is curious, the ATI 4650's from P500/505's worked.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but I think you might be SOL on this one, those laptop components are made specifically for that laptop and won't work in any other laptop, nor will they work outside of the laptop casing.

You know that for certain? I've swapped models of cards with dell's (not universal MXM's either), maybe others, and it has worked.
If you look at the P500's and X500's they're pretty much the same. The motherboards are identically laid out. Even the bios note changes have a ton of the same change notes.
Not being a dink, just trying to be SURE.
