Hi guys,

I spilled liquid on my sager laptop about a year ago, it was fried. It needed a mobo replacement which costs me an arm and leg lol. But here's the thing, after it got back from the repair shop i noticed the temps were a bit higher than before the spill. I didn't think much of it because it was still in a comfortable range. Now, i notice idle it goes to 60-70 C and gaming 78-95 C for the CPU and motherboard. The graphics card is cool as hell just the CPU and mobo temps.

Specs of Sager 8275/Clevo P170SM
i7 4700MQ Haswell
8GB DDR3 1600MHZ Crucial RAM
4GB GTX 780m
120GB mSata SSD
750GB WD black 7200RPM

Stock thermal paste on CPU & GPU: IC diamond thermal compound

Temps using CPUID HWMonitor
Before spill____________After repair shop_____________10 months later
Idle CPU 30-40 C_______42-48 C____________________50-60 C
Load CPU 40-50 C______60-70 C____________________74-90 C

Mobo 30-40 C_________40-45 C_____________________70-87 C

Idle GPU 34-40 C______34-40 C_____________________40-45 C
Load GPU 50-60 C_____60-70 C_____________________60-70 C

they didn't have IC diamond compound at the repair shop, so I bought Arctic silver from a PC shop and gave it to them to put on.

What I want to know, is there a cause for concern? should I send it back to the shop to get the thermal paste reapplied? it seems like only the CPU and Mobo is affected...? I don't know, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
