Ok i just found out that 740m is better than 820m.. So I searched for a laptop having 740m GPU.

My problem is now CPU.
I partially researched i5 4200U vs i5 3230M. I thought that if there's "4" after i5, (like i5 4550), it means 4th Gen intel core already. What's the generation of i5 3230m?
Is the i5 3230M really better in gaming performances than i5 4200U?

I'm into BF3 or BF4 games. But I'll set the graphics settings to low/mid.
I also use AutoCAD 2014.
So i'm choosing between brands, disregarding the prices if the difference isnt significant.

1. HP 14-N214TX
*Genuine Windows 8.1 SL 64bit
*Intel Core i5-4200U (4th Gen)
*2GB NVidia Geforce GT 740M (4GB Total)
*4GB RAM DDR3
*500GB HDD
*14.0" LED
*DVD-RW
*3-4hrs Batt

2. Acer Gold V5-472g
Intel Core i5- 4200u 1.6ghz-2.6ghz turbo
-4gb DDr3 Ram max 8gb
-1000gb Hard disk drive
-14-inch HD 1366x768 Pixel Resolution, High Brightness
-(200-nit) Acer CineCrystal LED-backlit
-Intel HD Graphics 4400 with Nvidia Gforce 2gb 740m = 3.7gb video card

3. Dell Latitude 3440
Intel Core I5-4200u 4th Gen Haswell
Dual Gaphic Card:
Intel Hd400 (For Light Browsing)
Nvidia Geforce Gt 740m - 2GB ( For Cad And Gaming)
14.0 1600x900 WXGA++ anti-glare
4gb 1600 Ddr3l Ram
500GB

Which brand do you think is reliable? Thank you.

I would go with the Asus. They get some criticisms for build quality at times, but of the 3, I'd trust Asus over the others--but that's just my personal opinion.

The i5 will give you a decent boost in FPS compared to the i3. Not a lot though, I think. And the 820M should be fine if you are looking to run things on low to mid. If price is not an issue though, I would opt for an 870M or better, but I just like my games looking pretty.

are those the only laptop available to you??
if it is then I will go with the one which has the biggest Resolution dell at 1600x900

if you are open to different brand try search for SAGER laptops although they may be hard to find outside of US

Nope, there are brand new laptops in my country.
But the above list are 2nd hand laptops worth about 580 USD.

How about my question:
Is the i5 3230M really better in gaming performances than i5 4200U?

AMD Radeon 7610M 1GB is it good for decent BF 3 gaming?
