Hello, so i was opening a can of ginger ale and while not pointed at the laptop the liquid sprayed a bit on the keyboard...it didnt get drenched but one droplet got in between the keys..should i be worried? i immediately used a microfiber cloth to remove the liquid..

heres a illustration on how the droplet was placed. http://postimg.org/image/oi2ysyl4v/ the blue dot is the droplet.

i don't proffer to disassble my laptop if necessary... thanks! will the droplet dry eventually? will it attract ants? will the key have sticky residue? what do you think?

THANKS! :)

I believe laptops have some sort of shielding to stop wet stuff from going into your motherboard or something.

Personally, I have dropped a couple of water droplets into my laptop keyboard. I just left it off for a while and let it dry. But this is soda, so it's a little more tricky.

Since you don't want to disassemble, I would at least try to remove the keyboard or at least a couple of the keys. I imagine, it will leave a sticky residue.

On another note, sometimes liquids can cause rust on the shielding. I would clean it up before it does. Because like of warranties will find that and will opt not to service you. This is assuming you don't have any accidental warranty.
