USB speakers for mobile

Hi, I have a logitech USB speaker. When I connect it to my laptop it works fine. When I try to connect it to my mobile using an OTG cable, it doesnt work. So I guess it requires some power source to get it running. I was thinking if it would be possible to connect the speaker to a power supply as well as a 3.5 mm jack at the same time. Please advice
